Hirschmann™ hat mit EAGLE20-0400 und EAGLE30-0402 zwei neue Firewalls eingeführt. Sie ermöglichen erhebliche Kosteneinsparungen und gleichzeitig höhere Verbindungsgeschwindigkeiten.
Hirschmann™ hat die EAGLE20-Reihe erweitert: Dank mehrerer Ports brauchen Anwender nur noch einen einzigen EAGLE20 zu implementieren statt wie bisher mehrerer Geräte.
Die Modelle EAGLE20-0400 und EAGLE30-0402 von Hirschmann™ sind eine technologische Innovation auf dem Markt. Sie bieten als erste Firewalls in einem konvektionsgekühlten Hutschienengehäuse bis zu sechs LAN-Ports – zwei davon sind Gigabit-Ports und optional mit zusätzlichen WAN-Schnittstellen.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Niederlande – 12. Januar 2012 – Die Geschäftsbereich Innovative Plastics von SABIC hat heute bekannt gegeben, dass ihre Produktionswerke in Campinas, Brasilien, und in Tortuguitas, Argentinien, die Zertifizierung erlangt haben, FDA-konforme (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) und biokompatible Kunststoffe für die schnell wachsenden Gesundheitsmärkte in Südamerika herzustellen. Dadurch können die Lieferzeiten verkürzt, die Lagerhaltungskosten verringert und die Flexibilität der Materialbeschaffung erhöht werden. Laut Espicom Health Intelligence wird in acht latein- und südamerikanischen Gesundheitsmärkten – Brasilien, Mexiko, Argentinien, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Kolumbien und Kuba – zwischen 2008 und 2013 eine durchschnittliche jährliche Wachstumsrate (CAGR) von 4,6 Prozent erwartet, wodurch das Marktvolumen auf 9,2 Milliarden US-Dollar ansteigen wird. Um diese steigende Nachfrage zu decken, setzt sich SABIC dafür ein, den Kunden die Beschaffung von leistungsstarken Werkstoffen, z. B. den biokompatiblen Kunststoff Lexan* HP Polycarbonate (PC), vor Ort zu erleichtern und die technischen Ressourcen bereitzustellen, die sie für die Vermarktung von modernen Anwendungen im Medizinbereich brauchen.

CLOSURE OF FLAACH TAPE DEVELOPMENT & MANUFACTURING FACILITY
The Netherlands, December 21, 2011 - DSM Dyneema has announced its decision to close its facility in Flaach, Switzerland. The site was acquired in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Pamako A.G., and currently develops and produces Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE) tape. Approx. 25 people are affected by this decision.
