Distrupol signs up for Cabot Masterbatch in Ireland
Distrupol Ireland has signed a contract with Cabot Corporation for the distributorship of their range of masterbatches in Ireland, starting 1 August, 2009. The range includes Cabot’s black, white, grey and additive masterbatches trading as PLASBLAK®, PLASWITE®, PLASGREY® AND PLASADD® respectively.

Milliken Expands Colorants Portfolio for Global Thermoset Plastics Industry

DSM hat ein neues, besonders ausgasungsarmes Arnite® PET XL für die spezifischen Anforderungen adaptiver, mit Xenon-Lampen bestückter Kfz-Scheinwerfer (Adaptive Forward Lighting, AFX) entwickelt. Dieses neue Material wird erfolgreich in der Fertigung neuer AFX-Einheiten für die neue Mercedes S-Klasse eingesetzt, die sich auch durch Merkmale wie automatische Fernlichtanpassung auszeichnen.

Oktober 2009 – SABIC Innovative Plastics gab bekannt, dass LTK Industries, ein führender Draht- und Kabel-Erstausstatter (OEM) und langfristiger Kunde mit Sitz in Hongkong, die Verwendung von SABIC Innovative Plastics umweltfreundlichem Kunststoff Flexible Noryl* für Kabelummantelungen für Elektrogeräte (Appliance Wiring Material, AWM), die in der Unterhaltungselektronik zum Einsatz kommen, vorantreibt.
