Kotflügel aus den Noryl GTX* Kunststoffen von SABIC Innovative Plastics kommen in China erstmalig beim Dongfeng - dem ersten Fahrzeug von Peugeot für China – zum Einsatz
BERGEN OP ZOOM, Niederlande – 14. Mai 2008 – Die aus dem Hightech Kunststoffen Noryl GTX* von SABIC Innovative Plastics hergestellten Karosserieteile bauen ihren globalen Marktanteil weiter aus, da die Automobilhersteller auf der ganzen Welt zunehmend Kunststoffe mit diesen innovativen Hochleistungs Eigenschaften benötigen. Seit mehr als sieben Jahren verwendet Peugeot in seinen in Frankreich hergestellten Autos den Noryl GTX Kunststoff für Kotflügel und andere Karosserieteile. Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobiles (DPCA) verwendet den Noryl GTX Kunststoff jetzt bei der viertürigen Limousine Dongfeng Peugeot 307. Dieses erste Modell, das ausschließlich in China hergestellt und verkauft wird, verfügt über sportliche vordere Kotflügel aus Noryl GTX Kunststoff.

NEUES HOCHLEISTUNGSFÄHIGES GLS TPE BIETET PHTHALATFREIE, WEICHMACHERFREIE FORMULIERUNGEN FÜR VERPACKUNGEN
McHENRY, Ill., USA – 8. April 2008 – Die GLS Corporation, die unlängst von der PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL) übernommen wurde, ist eines der weltweit führenden Unternehmen in Entwicklung, Herstellung und Vertrieb maßgeschneiderter thermoplastischer Elastomere (TPE). Das Unternehmen hat heute zur Ergänzung seiner wachsenden Produktlinie der VERSAFLEXTM TPE Spezialkunststoffe ein neues phthalatfreies TPE eingeführt. PPG marine coatings first to be approved under IMO performance standard
PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) protective and marine coatings (PMC) business recently announced that SigmaPrime 700 and SigmaPrime 700 LT coatings will be applied to a vessel being built in Korea for Chandris Hellas that will be the first built in full compliance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) ballast tank coatings regulation titled Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC).
