Larrie Rose, president of Belden Europe, will retire
Belden has announced that D. Larrie Rose, Vice President, Operations and President, Belden Europe, will retire at the end of February 2008, after a 35-year career with the Company. The Company has appointed Henk Derksen as interim managing director. Mr. Derksen is Vice President, Finance, for Belden Europe.

TIELT, BELGIEN – Februar 2008 – Die im belgischen Tielt ansässige Quadrant Creative Moulding & Systems (Quadrant CMS) hat in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kfz-Direktzulieferer TRW-Dalphimetal aus Madrid die Gehäuse für sämtliche der drei vorderen Airbags im neuen Citroën 5 entwickelt. Sowohl das Fahrer- als auch das Beifahrer- und Knieairbaggehäuse werden aus schlagzäh modifiziertem, 40 % glasfaserverstärktem Akulon® Polyamid 6 von DSM hergestellt.

PPG Sinoma Jinjing Fiber Glass to add third furnace
PITTSBURGH, Jan. 29, 2008 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) and Sinoma Jinjing Fiber Glass Co. Ltd. announced their respective boards of directors have approved the addition of a third furnace at the PPG Sinoma Jinjing Fiber Glass Co. Ltd. joint-venture manufacturing site in Zibo, China. The joint venture is a 50-50 arrangement for manufacturing glass-fiber reinforcement.

CHEMTURA RAISES PRICES 10% ON WESTON®, MARK® LIQUID PHOSPHITE ESTERS
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of its Weston® and Mark® Liquid Phosphite Esters by 10%, effective on all deliveries on or after February 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.
