SPRITZGEGOSSENES BEIFAHRER-AIRBAGGEHÄUSE VON QUADRANT CMS SPART GEWICHT UND KOSTEN
TIELT, BELGIEN – Juni, 2007 – Die in Tielt, Belgien, ansässige Quadrant Creative Moulding & Systems (Quadrant CMS) hat in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kfz-Systemzulieferer Autoliv ein neues Beifahrer-Airbaggehäuse aus Polyamid für den Einsatz in Fahrzeugen auf Basis der Plattform des Volkswagen Golf entwickelt. Das aus einem schlagzäh modifizierten Polyamid mit 40 % Glasfaserverstärkung spritzgegossene Gehäuse wiegt weniger als die Hälfte des ursprünglichen Pendants aus Metall und bietet beträchtliche Einsparungen bei den Fertigungskosten. Es wird seit Anfang 2007 in Fahrzeugen wie VW Golf, Audi A3, Seat Leon und Skoda Fabia eingebaut.

VORWERK ENTWICKELT GEMEINSAM MIT QUADRANT CSM FUNKTIONALE UND FORMSCHÖNE STAUBSAUGER-SCHLAUCHEINHEIT

Das Bauteil, mit dem der Anfang 2007 weltweit eingeführte neue Staubsauger „Tiger“ von Vorwerk ausgerüstet wird, bietet mehrere Verbesserungen hinsichtlich Funktionalität, Handhabung und Aussehen.

In this position, Beitel is responsible for sales growth for those businesses comprising the Performance Specialties division, including: Transportation & Industrial Lubricants & Greases, Urethane Products, Optical Monomers, Organicometallic Catalysts & Compounds, and Fluorines. Prior to this, as Vice President of Sales Excellence, he worked to achieve key growth objectives for Chemtura’s global sales organization.

Borealis sells its petrochemical business in Norway to Ineos
• Sale of Norwegian polyolefins business and share in Noretyl gas cracker to Ineos
• Creation of independent innovation company
• Group support functions remain in Norway as a separate unit
Continuing with the restructuring of its Norwegian operations, Borealis AS announces that it has reached an agreement to sell its petrochemical business in Bamble, Norway, to Ineos for EUR 290 million. It has also been decided to create a new independent innovation company to take over its innovation centre in Bamble and to retain the existing group support functions at the location as a separate unit.
