中國上海-2006年5月8日 帝斯曼工程塑料今日宣佈其位於中國江蘇省江陰市的新工程塑料共混廠於2006年4月26日正式啟用。該項目投入運營後，Stanyl® PA46、Akulon® PA6以及Arnite® PBT等產品系列的生產能力將實現翻番增長。採用此類材料生產的關鍵成型部件被廣泛應用於汽車、電子電氣、消費及工業產品領域。

Dauerhaft gutes Aussehen und hohe Festigkeit kennzeichnen das Gehäuse und die Randabdeckung der jüngst von Philips eingeführten, 25 Watt starken MasterColor® integrierten PAR38-Halogen-Metalldampflampe. Beide Anwendungen werden aus Arnite® spritzgegossen, einem Polybutylenterephthalat (PBT) von DSM Engineering Plastics. Mit der zwei- bis dreifachen Nutzdauer und 65% weniger Stromverbrauch bei erhöhter Lichtausbeute hat sich die Philips-Lampe im Wettbewerb gegen vergleichbare andere Halogenlampen dieser Wattleistung in Einzelhandels- und Industrieanwendungen erfolgreich etabliert. Neben der Materialwahl beriet DSM Engineering Plastics den Hersteller auch bei der Produkt- und Werkzeugkonstruktion sowie bei der Endproduktprüfung gemäß den Vorgaben der Internationalen Elektrotechnischen Kommission (IEC).
