Borealis and Novolen enter into license agreement and will jointly develop metallocene single-site polymerisation catalysts
Borealis and Novolen announced today that they have entered into a license agreement allowing Novolen’s metallocene single-site polypropylene (PP) technology rights to be available to Borealis. This agreement grants Borealis access to Novolen’s metallocene PP patent rights to manufacture single-site polymerisation catalysts to produce Borealis metallocene PP solutions. In addition, both parties have entered into joint development agreement to further develop metallocene single-site polymerisation catalysts for use in bulk PP polymerisation processes. Both companies are strongly committed to innovation and play a leading role in the plastics industry.

So sollen bei führenden Handschuhherstellern, die für die gleichbleibend hohe Qualität ihrer Produkte bekannt sind, unabhängige Tests zur Überprüfung von Abnutzung und Schnittfestigkeit der Handschuhe mit Dyneema® durchgeführt werden. Die Handschuhe werden dann mit einem Etikett versehen, das den Endkunden darüber informiert, dass die Handschuhe die Anforderungen des Qualitätsprogramms erfüllen. Das Programm soll Ende des Jahres eingeführt werden.
