September 2005 — GEs Geschäftsbereich für Quarzmaterialien und -produkte gab heute die Einführung einer integrierten Plattform für Heizeinheiten im neuen Labor des Unternehmens im japanischen Kobe bekannt, die die Leistungsoptimierung von Heizeinheiten und elektrostatischen Trägersystemen (Chucks) bei Chipherstellungsvorrichtungen unterstützen soll. Diese spezifischen Einheiten stellen ein wesentliches Untersystem der Wafer-Kammern von Halbleiterausrüstungsherstellern dar und verbinden kundenspezifische Maschinen-, Elektro- und Wärmetechnik mit GEs fortschrittlichen mittels CVD-Verfahren behandelten Keramikheizeinheiten und E-Chucks.
