Produktionsstätte in Mexiko unterstreicht Engagement von conTeyor zur Unterstützung von Kunden in Nordamerika
Merelbeke, Belgien, 15. Dez. 2003 — conTeyor, Europas führender Hersteller von textil basierten Verpackungs- und Materialflusslösungen für Automobilhersteller und zulieferer, hat am 1. August 2003 eine Produktionsstätte in Mexiko in Betrieb genommen. Das Werk liegt in Irapuato, 2½ Fahrstunden nördlich von Mexiko-Stadt.

Borouge developing into world scale petrochemical complex
Borouge, Borealis’ joint venture with ADNOC, is expanding its existing Borstar capacity and studying further expansion to form a world scale petrochemical complex at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Building on the successful start up and first two years of operation, increasing market demand for enhanced polyolefins and more feedstock becoming available, the next steps are underway to expand the Borouge petrochemical complex.

American Maplan's new heater is like money in the bank for extruders
Small changes to machine design can yield big savings for processors. This point was underscored recently when extruder manufacturer American Maplan Corp., McPherson, Kansas, made a seemingly minor design change to the screw oil heating element installed on most of its profile machines. The new design reduces the amount of electrical power needed for each heating unit by 20%, to 7.6 watts from 9.5 watts, with no trade-off in process performance. The result, says VP Sales Kurt Waldhauer, is potentially reduced energy consumption, a 50 to 60% increase in heater life, and a decrease in machine maintenance.

Herr Marburger hat einen Abschluss als Diplom Ingenieur im Bereich der Kunststofftechnik und war 14 Jahre als Entwicklungsingenieur in verschiedenen Bereichen von DOW Deutschland tätig. Zuletzt war Herr Marburger 3 Jahre für RTP Deutschland im Bereich Spezialitäten Compounds tätig. Er verfügt über viel Erfahrung in den Bereichen Entwicklung und Vertrieb von HT Thermoplasten.
