e92plus, distributeur van IT beveiligingsproducten, brengt als eerste in Nederland het langverwachte IMS (Instant Managed Services) op de markt. In de huidige tijd is het voor ondernemingen die hun netwerken en servers op het internet hebben aangesloten, een absolute vereiste om deze met firewalls en communicatie over het internet met VPNs te beveiligen. Het vergt echter veel tijd, moeite en kennis om een firewall te installeren en goed te onderhouden. Met behulp van IMS wordt dit aanzienlijk vereenvoudigd.

Afin d’endiguer le risque élevé d’usure des étanchéités de pompes et les fuites qui en découlent, pour le complexe de raffinerie d’une grande entreprise pétrolière implantée dans la zone de l’Europoort, J. de Jong Rotatech a opté pour des bagues d’usure WR™ 300 de Greene Tweed. Ces bagues d’usure sont fabriquées dans un composite à base de PEEK (polyétheréthercétone) renforcé aux fibres de carbone. Elles présentent une excellente résistance aux produits chimiques, des propriétés anti-rayure et anti-grippage, un faible coefficient de frottement et une bonne résistance aux chocs. En outre, ce matériau résiste parfaitement aux chocs thermiques importants.

Borealis invests EUR 200 million in new Borstar® polyolefin capacity
Borealis today announced an EUR 200 million investment in the construction of a new 350,000 tonnes per year polyethylene plant, based on its proprietary Borstar technology, and a 90,000 tonnes per year expansion of the existing Borstar polypropylene plant at its petrochemical site at Schwechat, Austria. The new capacity will come onstream in 2005.
