New speaker programme management service launched in Europe
1 November 2002: EMGtech, the Dutch-UK PR partner firm in the Eurocom PR Network has formed a strategic alliance with The Catchpole Corporation, the leading US based speaker management specialists. Under the agreement EMGtech will actively market Catchpole’s consulting services and event reports in Europe, use Catchpole’s huge events information source to offer an enhanced speaker management resources to European clients, and also supply Catchpole with the latest data on European-based events and speaking opportunities.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE:GLK) today announced the introduction of Firemaster® 520, a higher reactivity flame retardant for rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam applications. Firemaster 520 was developed in close consultation with foam manufacturers who need to change their formulations to accommodate alternative blowing agents that are quickly replacing HCFC, which is subject to phase-out under the Montreal protocol.

Die Perstorp-Gruppe meldet die Übernahme der Geschäftseinheit Moldable Composites von Rogers Corporation, einem US-basierten Hersteller hochleistungsfähiger Duroplastcompounds, die vorwiegend im Fahrzeugbau und in der Elektrotechnik eingesetzt werden. Moldable Composites erzielte mit rund 150 Mitarbeitern zuletzt einen Jahresumsatz von ca. USD 35 Millionen.
