Fiske, the Univar food ingredient brand, has been appointed the exclusive pan-European distributor for Fonterra, one of the worlds’ leading dairy ingredients companies. Rolling out across Europe from 1 January 2007, the agreement covers 25 countries and includes Fonterra’s entire range of added-value dairy proteins. The addition of dairy proteins to Fiske’s portfolio offers significant benefits to the two company’s customers. As well as providing access to a wider range of ingredients from a single source, Fiske will offer an efficient and professional multi national logistics service combined with an experienced technical support service. Univar acquisisce un distributore italiano di prodotti chimici
Rotterdam, Paesi Bassi - 27 Ottobre 2006 – Univar N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam: UNIVR), leader mondiale nella distribuzione di prodotti chimici, ha annunciato oggi che la consociata italiana Univar ha acquisito cash il 100% delle azioni di Achimar S.p.A. L'acquisizione è stata completata il 26 Ottobre 2006. Achimar S.p.A. ha registrato nel 2005 vendite nette per circa 20 milioni di Euro.
Achimar è un'impresa da tempo affermata nella distribuzione dei prodotti chimici e la sua sede in centro Italia, 30 chilometri a sud di Roma, è in una posizione altamente favorevole per servire il mercato del centro-sud Italia. Attiva principalmente nella vendita di prodotti chimici di base, la società è nota in Italia per l'eccellente servizio fornito alle industrie farmaceutiche, alimentari, dei prodotti per la detergenza, per il trattamento acqua, metallurgia e dei prodotti per l'elettronica e potrà presto beneficiare della più ampia gamma di prodotti già offerti in Italia da Univar. Univar Purchases Spanish Chemical Distributor
Rotterdam, The Netherlands – April 7, 2006 – Univar N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam: UNIVR), a world leader in chemical distribution, today announced that its Univar Europe business unit has acquired 100% of the stock of JSM Chemicals S.A., based near Valencia, Spain. The acquisition was completed on April 6, 2006. For the calendar year 2005, JSM recorded net sales of approximately EUR 13 million.
