Intended sale of The Compound Company B.V. to Industrie Polieco

ENSCHEDE, THE NETHERLANDS - The Compound Company BV (www.thecompoundcompany.com) announces it has reached an agreement for the sale of 100% of its shares to Industrie Polieco – M.P.B. (www.poliecompb.com, www.mpb.it, www.polieco.com), a leader in production of piping systems and resins for coating and packaging with headquarters in Brescia, Italy. The sale is expected to close by the end of December 2025, subject to customary approvals and notifications, including the consultation process with the works council of The Compound Company in accordance with the Dutch works council act.

The Compound Company is a manufacturer with production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany specializing in high-performance polymer compounds and chemically functionalized polymers for numerous industrial sectors, including packaging, automotive, medical, solar and construction. Products under the globally renowned Yparex^® brand include impact modifiers, compatibilizers and coupling agents used as additives in compounds as well as adhesive resins for tie layers in co-extruded products. The company also offers toll compounding services, i.e. contract manufacturing in which the company blends base polymers with additives according to specific instructions to create customized plastic materials. In addition, heat activated adhesive films and POE encapsulant films are in the product offering.

Industrie Polieco – M.P.B. believes that the combined knowledge and skills of its compounding branche M.P.B. and The Compound Company will form a strong platform for further global growth. The Compound Company will continue its current strategy and growth plan supported by its new owner and remain headquartered in Enschede, The Netherlands.
