White vinyl labels from TE Connectivity are ideal for conformability on irregular surfaces

DARMSTADT, Germany – March 11, 2020 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announced today an offering of WV and EET V-9 - white PVC adhesive backed labels ideal for adhering to and identifying rounded, irregular and bendable surfaces.

WV and EET V-9 PVC labels are thermal transfer printable with a permanent acrylic adhesive designed to withstand oil, mild cleaning agents, water and climatic influences. They can be used in flat applications such as rack, panel, and rating plates as well as in flag mode for irregular surfaces such as wire and cable identification.

“The adhesive properties have good adhesion on low energy surfaces like polypropylene, so WV and EET-V-9 can be applied on a wide variety of application surfaces” said Robin Gershkoff, TE product specialist.

WV and EET-V-9 label products have a service temperature of -40°C to 110°C (-40°F to 230°F) which is ideal for use in industrial automation, commercial application, aerospace and defense. Both products are UL recognized; files via MH17292 -PGJI2/PGJI8 and MH61871 – PGIS2. Neither label family contains any declarable or prohibited substances from the UNIFE Railway Industry Substance List. Additionally, WV and EET-V-9 are REACH and RoHS compliant. Further information covering RoHS and REACH compliance can be found at the TE Product Compliance Support Centre. Technical performance can be found on TTDS-207 datasheet.
