Syensqo recognized by Avio with Raw Material Supplier Award

Recognition highlights Syensqo's strategic partnership with Avio and its contribution to advanced space and defence programs

Brussels, October 26, 2026 - Syensqo has been recognized by Avio with an award in the Raw Material supplier category during its supplier day event, held on October 15, 2026, at Avio's facility in Colleferro, Italy.

The award highlights Syensqo's role as a strategic supplier to Avio across its space and defence activities, recognizing the strength of the companies' longstanding partnership and their shared commitment to quality, reliability and innovation.

The recognition follows the announcement in April 2026 of a new long-term supply agreement between Syensqo and Avio, further reinforcing their collaboration in advanced materials for demanding aerospace and defence applications.

Syensqo supplies high-performance ablative materials, resin transfer molding (RTM) resins and adhesives for Avio's space launch programs, including Vega-C, as well as defence applications. Engineered to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stresses, these materials are used in critical components such as rocket motor nozzles, exit cones and structural elements.

"Receiving this recognition from Avio is a great honor and a testament to the dedication of our teams and the strength of our longstanding partnership. We are proud to contribute our advanced materials expertise to Avio's programs and remain committed to supporting the next generation of space launch systems." Rodrigo Elizondo, President of Syensqo Composite Materials.

The award also recognizes the collective efforts of Syensqo’s global operations teams, including Winona (USA), Wrexham and Heanor (UK), and Östringen (Germany), whose expertise, dedication and commitment to excellence are instrumental in delivering the high-performance materials essential to Avio’s programs.
