Syensqo launches Repel-O-Tex^® Crystal Premium, a new soil release polymer for modern laundry care

This new technology supports consumers’ shift to shorter and colder wash cycles without compromising cleaning efficacy

Brussels, July 7, 2026 - Syensqo today announced the launch of Repel-O-Tex^® Crystal Premium, its latest generation of soil release polymer for liquid laundry detergents delivering significant performance, especially in short and cold wash cycles. This innovation responds directly to evolving consumer trends that prioritize convenience and energy savings while maintaining high standards for stain removal.

Repel-O-Tex^® Crystal Premium expands Syensqo's Repel-O-Tex^® range and is compatible with concentrated liquid laundry formats and pouches. Repel-O-Tex^® solutions prevent greasy stain incrustation and fabric graying by creating a protective shield on fibers during the wash, which facilitates subsequent dirt removal. This new grade delivers over 30% efficacy improvement over previous benchmarks, across all wash conditions.
