Biography Richard D. Lantz, President Composite Solutions Business Owens Corning
Richard D. Lantz was named president of Owens Corning’s global Composite Solutions Business in November 2001. As president, Lantz oversees all aspects of the business, from manufacturing to sales.
Prior to his current assignment, Lantz served as president of Owens Corning’s Roofing Solutions Business. Lantz’s other recent leadership assignments at Owens Corning include president, System ThinkingTM Sales and Distribution organization; vice president, marketing, Insulating Systems Business; vice president, marketing sales and support, Building Materials Sales and Distribution, North America; and vice president, marketing, Roofing and Asphalt.
Lantz joined Owens Corning as a sales representative in 1974, and has held various positions in sales, distribution, marketing, technical services and market development.
Lantz earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana University in 1974. Recently named to the Board of the Composite Fabricators Association, Lantz is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
