RAYMUND TROST VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANGER TELECOMMUNICATIONS, ELECTRONICS AND BUILDINGS OWENS CORNING

Raymund Trost was named vice president and general manager, Telecommunications, Electronics and Buildings in July 2000. In this position Trost is responsible for a variety of business units focusing on the end-use markets including OC™ Telecommunication Solutions, OC™ Electronics and OC™ Buildings.

Mr. Trost joined Owens Corning in 1990 as a financial analyst and held a variety of financial positions in Brussels, Belgium through 1995. In 1996, he was named controller, Insulating Systems Business. In January 1999, Mr. Trost transferred to Europe to assume his position as Facility Business Leader of the Battice Composites facility.

Mr. Trost graduated from the University of Liège in 1986 with a degree in Economics and holds a management degree in European Administration and Econometrics from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve.
