OQ Strengthens Water Security Portfolio with New PP Random Pipe Grade Along with 17 New Products at K 2025

OQ, Oman’s global integrated energy group, today announced the launch of its latest polymer innovation, Luban RP6207B, a polypropylene random copolymer (PPRC) grade engineered for hot and cold-water distribution pipes. The new grade will debut at K 2025 in Düsseldorf, alongside 17 new PP and PE polymer solutions, marking OQ’s largest-ever product showcase at the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair.

Building on the success of Luban LL-R3605UV, introduced in 2024 for rotomoulded water tanks, Luban RP6207B represents OQ’s continued commitment to advancing water security solutions. The grade is designed for residential, industrial, and infrastructure applications, offering:

Exceptional durability and pressure resistance, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
Advanced melt strength, maintaining pipe shape and integrity during processing.
Outstanding corrosion resistance, eliminating rust, scale buildup, and chemical degradation associated with traditional metal pipes.
Long service life with reduced maintenance costs, ensuring cleaner and safer water supply.
