23 April 2026 – Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, will demonstrate its innovative packaging solutions at Interpack 2026 through an indirect presence in collaboration with 15 original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Visitors can experience Mondi materials and solutions on partner stands across the show floor, with many applications running live on machines.
By working closely with OEMs, Mondi ensures materials are optimised for real production environments. This helps brand owners and converters transition to more sustainable, material-efficient packaging solutions while maintaining line performance, product protection and supply chain efficiency.
Throughout Interpack, Mondi solutions will be visible in a uniquely wide range of end-use applications, including coffee and dried foods, home and personal care, pet food, beverages, eCommerce and transport packaging. The OEM collaborations demonstrate how material innovation and machine expertise come together to deliver practical, future-ready packaging solutions.
At selected partner stands, visitors can see Mondi solutions operating live on equipment. One example is the collaboration with Hugo Beck. The Mondi partner will unveil a new machine for kraft paper bundling for transport and secondary packaging as an alternative to plastic shrink film and excessive carton use. The machine will run with Mondi’s Ad/Vantage StretchWrap paper, a 70 g/m² uncoated kraft paper offering strong stretch, tear and puncture resistance that is recyclable in standard paper recycling streams.
Further OEM partners, such as Rovema, Mespack, Meurer Verpackungssysteme, Viking Masek and Krones, will showcase Mondi’s materials – including paper, plastic, coated barrier and corrugated packaging – in their demonstrations. This gives visitors multiple opportunities to compare concepts, ask technical questions and discuss how packaging design choices influence recyclability, material efficiency and line performance.
Elisabeth Schwaiger, Head of Innovation Mondi Flexible Packaging, said: “Interpack is the ideal place to see what is possible when material innovation meets machine expertise. Through our collaborations with OEMs across the value chain, visitors can experience Mondi solutions in action and explore scalable packaging options designed to support their sustainability targets.”
