KRAIBURG TPE Publishes Its First Global Sustainability Report
The new company-wide report, prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), provides detailed insights into ESG performance, climate action commitments, and material innovations across KRAIBURG TPE's global operations.
With the publication of its first company-wide Sustainability Report, KRAIBURG TPE provides customers, partners, and other stakeholders with a transparent overview of its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. The report covers all three production sites and outlines the company's sustainability strategy as well as its progress and achievements. Prepared in accordance with the simplified European Sustainability Reporting Standards, it shows how sustainability is integrated into KRAIBURG TPE's business model—from product development and responsible sourcing to climate action, circular economy initiatives, and employee well-being.
“Customers increasingly expect reliable sustainability information alongside high-performance materials. Our report shows how we integrate sustainability into product development, sourcing and manufacturing while supporting customers with material solutions for more circular applications,” said Oliver Zintner, CEO of KRAIBURG TPE. “Our first company-wide Sustainability Report shows the measures we have implemented, the progress we have achieved, and the areas where we continue to improve. Sustainability is integrated into the way we develop materials, work with partners, and support customers in achieving their own environmental goals.”
Beyond environmental performance, the report also outlines KRAIBURG TPE's approach to responsible business practices, including governance, compliance and responsible supply chain management. During the reporting period, all relevant suppliers at the company's production sites signed the Supplier Code of Conduct, were covered by sustainability clauses and underwent CSR assessments.
Highlights from the 2025 Sustainability Report
The report presents several key milestones and commitments, including:
- EcoVadis Gold rating for all production sites
- Expansion of recycled-content, bio-based and ISCC PLUS-mass balanced TPE solutions
- Progress in Loop TPE take-back and reprocessing concepts
- 100% renewable electricity at production sites in Germany and the United States
Supporting customers through material innovation and circularity
For KRAIBURG TPE, sustainability is closely linked to material innovation and the transition towards a circular economy. The company continues to expand its portfolio of recycled-content, bio-based and ISCC PLUS-mass balanced TPE solutions while developing circular material concepts such as Loop TPE. Through this initiative, TPE materials processed by the customer can be taken back, reprocessed into TPE compounds and supplied back to customers, which can help conserve valuable resources.
In addition to developing more circular materials, KRAIBURG TPE supports customers with Product Carbon Footprint calculations, material selection consultancy and guidance on downstream processing and end-of-life options. Together with co-recyclability assessments for selected grades in PP and HDPE recycling streams, these services help customers make informed material decisions.
Building long-term trust through responsible business
The report also provides insight into KRAIBURG TPE’s governance, compliance and supplier management structures. The company maintains DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 certification at all global sites, as well as DIN EN ISO 50001:2018 certification at its German headquarters.
