Harvest Polymers Ltd - Interplas 2002
Harvest Polymers Ltd inaugurated in 1999 makes its debut show appearance at Interplas 2002, as part of the BPF’s Processor Resource Centre, Stand Number 3240A.
Harvest Polymers is the UK’s only dedicated Distributor of thermoplastic elastomers, and represents some of the world’s global leaders in TPE.
All the principle TPE families are offered, including SBS, SEBS, TPV, COPE and specialist polyamide elastomers and blends.
Amongst the leading brands is the Dryflex styrene block copolymers portfolio from VTC Elastoteknik in Sweden. The Dryflex S series comprises over 200 formulations from 30-90 Shore A, with a further range of specialities - over 600 currently from Shore 5A to 55D, positioning Dryflex as the foremost choice for SEBS and SBS in Europe.
Harvest Polymers is also the exclusive UK distributor for NexPrene TPV from Thermoplastic Rubber Systems (USA). Nexprene an EPDM/P fully vulcanised system has demonstrated very fast injection cycles over traditional TPV’s, and has improved tensile and tear strength over a wide temperature range. Nexprene is available in Shore 35A to 50D, is easily coloured, and has worldwide approvals in the automotive industry.
For extremely demanding mechanical performance over a wide temperature range, Harvest markets the Keyflex BT co-polyester block elastomers from LG International (UK)
At Interplas, Harvest will introduce the Dinalon and Ecoamid range of polyamide compounds from Grupo Repol (Spain). These products, tailor-made to exacting specifications under ISO 9002 and 14001, have already demonstrated significant productivity gains at a number of UK moulders.
Further extensions to the Harvest portfolio are also launched at Interplas - the first from Rifra Masterbatches (Italy), an extensive range of colour and additive Masterbatches, that compliments Harvest’s growing activity across the whole range of UK processors - from injection moulding, pipe extrusion to film and sheet. The second comprises the Booster range of compatibilizers from Engineering Chemicals (Netherlands) for polymer blending and recycling.
Last not least, Harvest Polymers have been appointed as UK Agent and Distributor for Vapla SA (Spain) - one of Europe’s leaders in HMWPE and UHMWPE and PP sheet products, marketed under the Vaplatec, Vapladur and Vaplasol trademarks.
Harvest Polymers aim is to source global leading edge material and technology for UK processors to enable them to improve productivity and quality, whilst reducing costs and increasing their competitive advantage.
