EMG China moves West
Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands, May 11, 2017 – EMG China, the leading international B2B/industrial communications specialist, has just completed a move to its new offices on the Puxi or west side of Shanghai, located in the new Futureland Building, in the vibrant and emerging business district of Putuo.
The move marks the next chapter in EMG’s continued success in China. “With a 13 year history on the ground here, EMG has long been established as the leading B2B and industrial communications specialist in China. The move to Puxi provides us with a newer, more modern office location and facilities, improved staff accessibility, as well as proximity to clients and the new National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai’s Hongqiao district, which is set to host more and more industry events,” said John Gallagher, International Development Director, EMG.
The world’s largest exhibition centre, the NECC will host Chinaplas, the annual plastics and rubber tradeshow and traditionally one of EMG’s largest client and key events, for the first time in 2018.
Although the market in China has undergone change in recent years, it continues to present growth and development opportunities. “We are seeing continued demand from existing clients for our brand of specialized PR and communications expertise, as well as strong growth in new client acquisition this year,” said John. “In particular, there has been a significant shift towards digital communications through WeChat platforms across many of our clients which we are supporting.”
Underlining this continued growth, EMG China has also strengthened and expanded its team with the recent addition of Joe Cui who joins as Senior Account Director. Previously with Newell Public Relations, Joe brings over 12 years of communications know-how and a depth of local and Asian experience across a variety of B2B sectors including technology, food ingredients and materials.
