Distrupol focuses on technical expertise and value of broad product selection at Interplas
At the Interplas show, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham (UK) from 30 September to 4 October 2002, Distrupol, the leading UK polymer distributor and service provider, will focus on its strong technical expertise and the value that its broad product portfolio can bring to designers and moulders alike.
Under the theme 'Knowledge that Delivers' Distrupol will focus its Interplas presentation on the company’s strong technical backbone and its product performance offerings across extrusion, soft, clear, high temperature, flame retardant, as well as tough polymers. “We have chosen to present our broad product range on the basis of application, rather than product families such as PP, PS, etc., says David Jukes, Distrupol’s new CEO. “With our extensive technical expertise and product knowledge we advise our customers based on the properties they require in their end product. We offer them the right choice for their specific application."
During Interplas Distrupol can be found at Stand No. 3166 in Hall 3. The company will be sharing the stand with Lucite (Diakon brand) and E&E Ltd, a sister company in Univar, selling pigments and additives to the plastics industry. Distrupol will also be presenting a series of seminars at the ‘Designing in Plastics’ technical centre, Stand 3200, Hall 3.

The sectors of Profile, Sheet and Rod encompass a very large sector of Polymer producers. This Seminar attempts to look in some detail of extrusion materials. The Performance of certain materials will be looked at and their suitability for different types of processing such as Co-extrusion.
