Clariant appoints Gapuma Group as Well Service Additives distributor across West Africa

Clariant appoints Gapuma Group as a distributor of its Well Service Additives (WSA) portfolio across Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and Ghana

MUTTENZ, July 29, 2026 - Clariant today announced the appointment of Gapuma Group, a London-based international trading company specializing in commodities and specialty chemicals, as a distributor of its Well Service Additives (WSA) portfolio across Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and Ghana.

The appointment strengthens Clariant's route-to-market strategy across West Africa by combining Gapuma's established regional distribution network with Clariant's Well Service Additives portfolio. Under the agreement, Gapuma Group will distribute Clariant's industry-recognized WSA portfolio across the three territories through its affiliated companies, including the HOSTADRILL, HOSTAMER, and HOSTASTIM product families for drilling, cementing, stimulation, and deliquification applications.
