MUTTENZ, December 2, 2025 - Clariant’s Additives business has been honored with a 2025 Schneider Electric Outstanding Supplier Award at Schneider Electric’s Global Supplier Day in Copenhagen. Notably, Clariant received this recognition despite not being a direct supplier, highlighting the strategic importance of Clariant’s innovative flame retardant technologies in Schneider’s upstream value chain.

Clariant has established itself as a global leader in halogen-free flame retardant solutions, backed by a robust portfolio of patents and proprietary technologies. Schneider Electric particularly values Clariant’s Exolit^™ OP Technology, which provides halogen-free flame retardant solutions that meet stringent safety standards. Clariant’s supply resilience measures, including significant investment in its Daya Bay production sites in China, have ensured reliable supply of these critical materials, further strengthening the partnership.
