Clariant CESA®-extend masterbatches restore recycled PET, PLA for high-value packaging needs
Charlotte, April 4, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, now offers enhanced formulations of CESA-extend masterbatches that restore important material properties to recycled condensation polymers including PET, PLA, and polycarbonate. This means even high percentages of regrind can be incorporated with virgin resin without significantly reducing physical properties required in food-contact and other high-performance packaging applications.

Clariant unveils ground-breaking additives at European Coatings Show 2017

Clariant launches PolyMax® 850 catalyst for more profitable and sustainable fuel upgrading
Munich, March 21, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the launch of PolyMax 850, a high-performance, sustainable catalyst for petroleum refineries. The new phosphoric acid catalyst increases polygasoline, nonene and tetramer yields at lower operating temperatures, thus reducing costs and boosting productivity. Compared to previous generations of the PolyMax series, the new catalyst offers an even longer service life, helping to minimize waste in the fuel upgrading process.
