New Chief Operating Officer for Axxicon Mould Technology

Arno Wendrich has been appointed to the post of Chief Operation Officer of Axxicon Mould Technology, a division of Mikron Technology Group. Mr. Wendrich takes up his new post with immediate effect.

Arno Wendrich has been with Axxicon for 10 years, most recently as Managing Director of Axxicon Moulds Helmond, the Netherlands. Previously, Mr. Wendrich was in charge of Axxicon Moulds in Osterode, Germany.

Arno Wendrich studied engineering and toolmaking in Enschede, the Netherlands, before joining ICL's Industrial Automation division. He spent five years in various functions in project management and sales. Following two years of project management in the Antilles, he joined Axxicon Group in 1991, specialising in moulds for optical media.

Working from Helmond and later from Eindhoven, Mr. Wendrich was initially in charge of the company's sales activities throughout Europe. Subsequently, he became responsible for Axxicon Moulds' Asian activities, leading all sales, agency and service activities. His tasks included the establishment of a dedicated Asian Marketing and Customer Services operation and the opening of an Axxicon office in Hong Kong.
