Cotton Incorporated & Archroma Redefine “100% Cotton”
Reinach, Switzerland - 16 September 2016 - Cotton Incorporated, the research and promotion company for cotton, and Archroma, a global leader in color and specialty chemicals, have collaborated to present what they believe is the first ever dye derived from cotton plant residues. Cotton Incorporated approached Archroma and challenged them to develop a dye option that may represent the first opportunity in modern textile history to create and color a fabric using a single plant source. EarthColors is Archroma’s innovative method of creating dyes in warm, ternary shades from nature.

Archroma launches a new concentrated OBA with reduced CO2 footprint

The new urea-containing disulphonated OBA – Leucophor® ACS liq – is particularly suited for stock application and for use in coating formulations that contain PVOH, CMC or casein as a secondary binder.

Archroma enters into collaboration with Textile Institute of Pakistan
