Omnexus porta il commercio elettronico nel settore delle materie plastiche al centro del palcoscenico del K 2001
L’acquisto e l’approvvigionamento in rete guadagna la ribalta della vetrina del K 2001 che si terrà a Düsseldorf in ottobre, grazie ad Omnexus il forum elettronico globale e neutrale, dedicato al processo di transazione completo che coinvolge fornitori diversi di prodotti vari e fornitori multipli, tramite un singolo punto di connessione. Verrà inoltre mostrata la tecnologia che consente ai trasformatori di effettuare ricerche e comparazioni su base uniforme relativamente ad una gamma che arriva fino a 4.500 resine diverse, come anche di effettuare paragoni sulle macchine basandosi su una vasta gamma di parametri come la forza di chiusura, lo spazio delle colonne, la dimensione della stampata, etc.

Promozione dell’Interplas alla K exhibition
La più grossa esposizione mondiale della plastica e della gomma di quest’anno verrà utilizzata come piattaforma di marketing per la mostra equivalente che si terrà l’anno prossimo. I rappresentanti degli uffici vendite internazionali della Reed Exhibitions saranno infatti presenti alla K2001 di Düsseldorf con il compito di promuovere l’Interplas 2002.

13 plastic parts for the new one-touch gearshift
Lohne, April 2001 – For the one-touch gearshift in the new C-Class models from DaimlerChrysler, the Pöppelmann Kunststoff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, Lohne, is supplying all 13 plastic parts. With this comfort automatic transmission system, the driver can select the gear he wants for a particular driving situation simply by lightly touching the shift lever. The compact shift block weighs only 0.5 kg, and the automatic transmission is currently regarded as the smallest of its kind. At the Hanover Industrial Trade Fair (23rd to 28th April 2001), Pöppelmann will be presenting the transmission as a transparent model on its stand C 34 in Hall 4.

Alsbach, März 2001 – Langglasfaserverstärktes Polypropylen in kundenspezifischen Einstellungen erweitert das Produkt-Portfolio des Distributors RESINEX Deutschland GmbH. Hersteller dieser neuen, unter dem Typennamen FACTOR® angebotenen Werkstoffe ist die FACT GmbH, Kaiserslautern. Der Distributionsvertrag wurde zum 26.02.2001 wirksam.

Engel – well equipped for our globalized future
Injection moulding machines, automation systems, technology and service "made by Engel" are today an internationally recognized yardstick for economical and innovative plastics processing. The last business year 2000/2001, which in Austria ended on 31st March, was one of dynamic development and enormous growth for Engel. Of the total sales of EUR 589 million, well over half (61 percent) was generated in Europe. North and South America together accounted for approximately one third (32 percent) and Asia 5 percent. The remaining 2 percent were spread over Australia, Africa and the Near East. In high jump terms, the crossbar is at a record height and will take some beating in the coming business year.
