Clariant offers better product access for oil production customers through new supply base in Indonesia
Clariant, a focused and innovative specialty chemical company, today announced the opening of a new supply base at Bojonegoro in East Java. This new storage facility in Indonesia provides Clariant’s Oil Services customers in the region with an improved, more sustainable supply chain for its Pour Point Depressants (PPD) and Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) products, in line with the specific requirements of the oil industry. The opening ceremony, held at the new base, was attended by government officials and Clariant customers in the region.

SABIC lance un nouveau filament de support detachable conçu pour améliorer la productivité des fabricants de pièces par impression 3D
SABIC, qui compte parmi les leaders mondiaux de l’industrie chimique, a annoncé ce jour le lancement de son filament AMS31F, le matériau que propose la société pour les supports détachable et qui sont utilisés en impression 3D par dépôt de filament en fusion. Ce nouveau filament préserve la rigidité pendant l’impression et présente une aptitude au pliage exceptionnelle, ce qui permet d’enlever plus facilement l’échafaudage à température ambiante lors du post-traitement et peut contribuer ainsi à réduire le temps et les moyens nécessaires pour obtenir la pièce finie. Le nouveau filament AMS31F est prévu pour être utilisé avec le filament ULTEM™ AM9085F de SABIC, un polyétherimide (PEI) à hautes performances qui confère des valeurs élevées de résistance à chaud et de résistance mécanique, deux propriétés essentielles pour les applications aéronautique, automobile, pétrolier et gazier et enfin pour la réalisation d’outillage.
