Omron en het Taiwanese Techman Robot gaan strategische alliantie aan op gebied van collaboratieve robots
Omron Corporation (hoofdvestiging in Kyoto, CEO Yoshihito Yamada) en Techman Robot Incorporated (hoofdkantoor in Taoyuan, Taiwan), wereldwijd marktleider op gebied van samenwerkende robotarmen, hebben een overeenkomst getekend voor een strategische alliantie op het gebied van collaboratieve robots. Door deze alliantie gaat Omron de TM-serie samenwerkende robots van Techman vanaf de tweede helft van 2018 onder een co-branded logo verkopen via haar eigen mondiale distributienetwerk. Bovendien zullen Omron en Techman gezamenlijk de volgende generatie collaboratieve robots ontwikkelen die gemakkelijker kunnen worden geïntegreerd met Omron's andere producten voor fabrieksautomatisering, zodat een innovatieve productieomgeving kan worden verwezenlijkt waarbinnen mens en machine in harmonie samenwerken.

Omron gaat samenwerken met Cisco voor productie-innovatiest
Omron Corporation (HQ: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; directeur en CEO: Yoshihito Yamada) en Cisco Systems G.K. (hoofdkantoor: Minato-ku, Tokyo; directeur en General Manager: Miyuki Suzuki) gaan samenwerken aan de integratie van de toonaangevende netwerk- en beveiligingstechnologie van Cisco in de programmeerbare logische controllers (PLC's) van Omron, die ontworpen zijn om onder extreme omstandigheden betrouwbaarheid te bieden in fabrieken. Met deze samenwerking gaan beide bedrijven de beveiliging van moderne, steeds intelligentere productiefaciliteiten verbeteren aan de hand van IoT. Tegelijkertijd worden fabrikanten geholpen om een veilige en betrouwbare productie te verkrijgen.

World premiere in Overijssel: The first PlasticRoad bike path comes in Zwolle
The PlasticRoad, a road made of recycled plastic, becomes a reality. The municipality of Zwolle and the province of Overijssel have committed to the first PlasticRoad pilot project. In September the first PlasticRoad will be constructed in Zwolle and in another location in the province a few months later. The PlasticRoad concept was launched in 2015 by market leader in road construction KWS (a subsidiary of Royal VolkerWessels). In 2016, KWS entered into a partnership with Wavin and Total for further development of the PlasticRoad.

Clariant completes REACH registrations
