Guardian Glass aprueba el gasto para el diseño de una instalación adicional de vidrio flotado en Polonia
Bertrange, Luxemburgo, 6 de marzo de 2017 – Guardian Glass hará un gasto de capital de 1,5 millones de dólares para el diseño detallado y evaluación de una potencial segunda instalación de una planta de vidrio flotado en Polonia. En la actualidad, Guardian Glass posee una planta de vidrio flotado en Czestochowa, Polonia, y está considerando ampliar capacidad con una segunda planta para cubrir la creciente demanda de productos de vidrio transformado y con recubrimiento, tanto para el sector comercial como para el residencial. Este gasto inicial previsto para el diseño de la instalación busca acelerar la realización de la nueva planta, que podría estar disponible comercialmente en el primer trimestre de 2019. Por otra parte, la localización está siendo aún evaluada.

Perstorp sells its Belgian site with its coating additives activities to Synthomer plc
Perstorp March 6, 2017 - The specialty chemicals innovator and supplier Perstorp (Perstorp Holding AB) today announces the sale of its additives activities primarily serving the paints and coatings industry produced at its facility at Gent Belgium, Perstorp Belgium (Perstorp Oxo Belgium AB) to Synthomer (Synthomer plc). The total consideration for the sale is €78 million (subject to certain adjustments). The divestment is in line with Perstorp’s strategy to focus on and expand its core chemicals activities.
