Clariant's Juergen Koy received The Chinese Government Friendship Award
Shanghai, October 10, 2016 – Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals, shares the exciting news that its Head of Production, Asia Pacific and India, Clariant Business Unit Catalysts, Juergen Koy, has been presented the Chinese Government Friendship Award in China this year. Established in the 1950s, the Chinese Government Friendship Award is the People's Republic of China's highest award for foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country's economic and social progress. The award ceremony was held at Zhongnanhai in Beijing on 29 September 2016, followed by a meeting with the premier Li Keqiang in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on September 30.

NATPET to highlight new polypropylene resin grades at K 2016, in collaboration with Haitian, WeiLi & Milliken
Saudi Arabia’s National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET), plans to showcase several polypropylene resins, including two new grades, at the K 2016 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Exhibiting on Booth A74 in Hall 8B, NATPET also is collaborating with Chinese machinery maker Haitian International along with specialty chemicals supplier Milliken & Co. during the Oct. 19-26 show.

Clariant Expanding Capacity for Printing Tubes and Stoppers by 30 Percent
Muttenz, October 6, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, and its Healthcare Packaging unit, are announcing plans to install new, high-speed, six-color offset tube printing machines at Clariant’s production facility in Romorantin, France. The new equipment will increase capacity at the plant by an estimated 30 percent when the expansion is completed early in 2017.
