TE Connectivity’s Rail Unit Appoints New General Manager
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – June 2, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has announced the appointment of Al Ghelani as general manager of the Rail division of TE’s Industrial business unit. Ghelani assumes the position on June 1, 2016, and will be based in Swindon, U.K. He will report to Thomas Schmidt, president of TE Industrial. Peter van Loo, former general manager of TE’s Rail unit will move to TE Industrial Strategic Growth.

Trelleborg ha finalizado la adquisición de CGS Holding a.s., empresa privada líder en neumáticos agrícolas, industriales y especiales así como en soluciones de ingeniería de polímeros. La inversión realizada ha ascendido a 10,9 billones de SEK* libre de deudas. CGS tiene su sede en la República Checa y durante el 2015 generó unas ventas de aproximadamente 5,6 billones SEK con un margen operativo del 16,5%.

FANUC and TE Connectivity Mark Long-Standing Partnership
DARMSTADT, Germany – June 1, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, participated in a special ceremony to mark the production of the 50,000th Roboshot molding press produced by FANUC Corporation. Yoshiharu Inaba, president and CEO of FANUC Corporation (L) formally handed over the 50,000th Roboshot to Minoru Okamoto, TE senior advisor to the CEO, in recognition of TE’s role as a key supplier. TE components make up almost 100 percent of the connector content in these molding presses. The 50,000th Roboshot is to go to TE’s Gateway Plant in Thailand.

Clariant continues to reach out to communities in China through HOPES Corporate Citizenship Activity
