GE wins over $600 million in contracts to support expansion of Brazil's pre-salt oil and gas fields
PARIS - April 3, 2013 - GE's Power Conversion business (NYSE: GE) is proving to be an ideal partner for builders and operators of drillships and semi-submersibles. In the last 12 months GE has won contracts valued at more than $600 million to provide propulsion systems with customers leading the pre-salt oilfield expansion off Brazil's east coast. GE's systems will power, propel, navigate, position and control drillships, and also power and control the drilling process itself.

Clariant acquires Nano-Silver Ink Technology from Bayer
Muttenz, April 2, 2013 - Swiss specialty chemicals group Clariant International AG acquired the nano-silver ink technology platform developed under the trademark Bayink® from Bayer Group (Germany). The transaction comprises all patents, know-how and materials related to Bayer's nano-silver ink technology. Clariant will continue to work closely with existing customers and cooperation partners to further develop nano-silver inks and its applications.
