SABIC aumenta la capacità produttiva delle resine composite LGF PP STAMAX* presso l'impianto di Genk in Belgio per soddisfare la crescente domanda dei clienti del settore automobilistico
SABIC's Innovative Plastics oggi ha annunciato un notevole incremento della capacità produttiva per le resine composite STAMAX* a base di polipropilene e rinforzate con fibre di vetro lunghe (LGF PP) presso l'impianto di Genk in Belgio allo scopo di soddisfare rapidamente la crescente domanda dei clienti del settore automobilistico. Il mese scorso, l'azienda ha iniziato a lavorare su una nuova linea di produzione, che si prevede aprirà nella seconda metà del 2013, allo scopo di ampliare la propria capacità di garantire una fornitura locale sicura e affidabile per il materiale SABIC ad alte prestazioni. Le resine composite LGF PP STAMAX assicurano ai clienti una valida combinazione di proprietà, al contempo riducendo notevolmente il peso, quindi con la potenzialità di migliorare il risparmio energetico e di ridurre le emissioni. La riduzione del peso, rispetto ai materiali tradizionali, migliora notevolmente l'impatto ambientale ed energetico per tutta la vita di un'automobile o di un autocarro. L'ampliamento della capacità dell'impianto di Genk dimostra l'impegno di SABIC nei confronti del clienti del settore automobilistico a livello internazionale e verso le loro necessità legate a soluzioni sostenibili e ad alte prestazioni che consentiranno loro di progettare e produrre i veicoli di prossima generazione.
