Sittard, Holanda – 7 de mayo de 2012 – SABIC ha desarrollado un nuevo método para la evaluación a gran velocidad de la resistencia al crecimiento lento de fisuras en el polietileno de alta densidad (PEAD) utilizado en la fabricación de tuberías a presión. Este método permitirá a los transformadores beneficiarse más rápidamente de cualquier nuevo desarrollo en PEAD para tuberías, puesto que acortará el tiempo necesario para que el nuevo material pase del laboratorio al mercado.

Vinhedo, Maio 2012 – A fim de ampliar seu portifólio de produtos sustentáveis, a Avery Dennison do Brasil (NYSE:AVY) está apresentando ao mercado o novo material Fasson® Cane Fibre Paper. Produzido a partir do bagaço da cana-de-açúcar, o novo material é composto por 95% dessa fibra e 5% de cânhamo e linter de algodão. “Trata-se de uma solução verde, limpa, inteligente, com ótima relação custo-benefício e que atende às necessidades da indústria de rótulos autoadesivos”, explica Ronaldo Mello, Vice Presidente e Gerente Geral da Avery Dennison América do Sul Divisão de Materiais para Rótulos e Embalagem.
