Clear identification of interfaces
The renowned circular connectors from the Hirschmann™ CA series that were previously only available in black can now be ordered from Belden in red, white and blue. This makes it possible to clearly label power supply, measurement and control interfaces, even when they all use the same basic connector. The CA circular connectors are all UL- and VDE-approved, and thanks to their compact construction they are currently the smallest connectors on the market. Other features include a temperature range from 40 to +90°C and – provided they are correctly mounted and screwed together – protection category IP67. Meaning that these connectors can be used wherever maximum reliability is critical, for instance in machine building, traffic engineering and renewable energy applications.

SABIC signe un contrat de stockage longue durée avec Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp
Sittard, Pays Bas, 5 octobre 2010 – A l’occasion de l’assemblé annuelle de l’European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) à Budapest, la société SABIC – un des leaders mondiaux de l’industrie chimique et des matières plastiques – a signé hier un contrat de longue durée pour des services de stockage avec le néerlandais Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp NV. Prévu pour prendre effet en 2013, ce contrat assurera un approvisionnement continu de matières premières aux deux importantes unités de cracking du naphta qu’exploite SABIC à Geleen. Basée en Belgique, Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp fournira un stockage ultra moderne à base de réservoirs zéro émission dont les caractéristiques dépassent les exigences de la législation belge sur l’environnement, permettant ainsi à SABIC de gérer sa chaîne d’approvisionnement dans le respect des principes du développement durable. La fiabilité du service sera appuyée par la construction d’un nouvel appontement à proximité. Ce partenariat à long terme souligne le ferme engagement de SABIC vis-à-vis de sa clientèle et de ses fournisseurs comme de son site de production de Geleen dans le sud des Pays-Bas.
