Songwon builds a firm foundation in China creating a series of wholly owned entities and preparing the way for future JV’s to meet customer demands
Ulsan, Korea – April 15, 2010 – Songwon, a leading additives supplier to the polymer industry, announces a new business structure for China which will be effective in the second quarter of 2010 and will create the foundation from which Songwon will continue to build its presence and customer relationships in China. The new structure will be based on Songwon China Limited, a wholly owned entity of Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. Songwon China Limited will be based in Hong Kong and will form the cornerstone from which other Songwon entities and JV’s will be established.

DSM expands Composite Resins business into Turkey and neighboring region
Schaffhausen, CH, April 14th, 2010 - DSM Composite Resins, through its subsidiary Euroresins Kompozit Ürünler Tic. Ltd. Sti, (a.k.a Euroresins Turkey) (ERT) has outlined its future growth plans for Turkey which include closer cooperation with Turkish company Dyo Boya Fabrikalari Sanayi ve Tic. A.S. (DYO). The arrangement, which means DSM will obtain a local source of supply of its standard resins in the rapidly growing Turkish polyester market, also involves a transfer of DYO’s existing unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) business to ERT. The entire deal, which will provide a basis for the introduction of DSM’s specialty and innovation grades to Turkey and the broader region, is intended to be completed by end of June 2010 subject to approval by the respective competition authorities.
