DELIVERING LOWEST SYSTEMS COST IN SOLID FORMULATIONS
Heerlen, 05 June 2009 – In response to a change in need, DSM Elastomers has launched Keltan® DE 8642A, a fast curing, high green strength ENB grade with very good filler and plasticizer acceptance. The new grade is particularly suitable for extrusion and molding applications with high level of fillers, such as solid sealing systems. Keltan® DE 8642A is produced in friable bales for excellent mixing performance.

DSM and MCC to exchange polycarbonate and polyamide businesses
Royal DSM N.V., the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company headquartered in the Netherlands, and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) today announce that they have signed a memorandum of understanding for DSM to acquire MCC’s Novamid® polyamide business in exchange for DSM’s Xantar® polycarbonate business.

Phillips named head of global business development at Clariant Oil Services
CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 28, 2009 - Dr. Nick Phillips has joined Clariant Oil Services in the role of Global Business Development Director based in Houston, Texas. Phillips worked from 1992 until 2002 as technical marketing manager with TR Oil Services which Clariant acquired in 2001.
