TEAM VAN DSM DYNEEMA IN ROPARUN 2009
URMOND (NL), 18 maart 2009 -Een hardloopteam van medewerkers van DSM Dyneema, van de Site Heerlen en van het kantoor in Urmond (L.), neemt deel aan de achttiende editie van de Roparun. De Roparun is een non-stop estafetteloop waarbij teams van acht lopers in totaal 530 kilometer afleggen van Parijs, via Noord-Frankrijk en België, naar Rotterdam. De start heeft plaats op zaterdag 30 mei in Parijs Le Bourget en op maandag 1 juni, Tweede Pinksterdag, finishen de lopers op de Coolsingel in Rotterdam. De eerste Roparun werd gelopen in 1992 en er deden toen dertien teams mee. In 2009 doen er 275 teams mee.

Clariant to launch strategic production facilities in Zhenjiang, China
Hong Kong, 10 March, 2009 Leading specialty chemical company Clariant is building a surfactants plant in Zhenjiang, Eastern China to help meet the needs of the country’s growing demand. The new facility is scheduled for production in the middle of 2009.

Royal DSM N.V., the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company headquartered in the Netherlands, announces that today a new factory for waterborne acrylic resins has been opened in Waalwijk (Netherlands). Total investment costs amounted to EUR 30 million.

Clavister SG3210 obtient la première place au test comparatif de solutions UTM réalisé par le magazine « Network Computing »
9 mars 2009 – Clavister, spécialiste de la sécurité sur IP et des solutions UTM, arrive en tête d'un test comparatif d'appliances UTM destinées aux PME. Réalisé par le laboratoire de tests Real-World Labs, le comparatif a confronté six éditeurs leaders dans ce domaine, pour le compte du magazine allemand « Network Computing ». Lors du test de la vitesse de la bande passante, avec filtres Web et antivirus activés, il est apparu que la solution SG3210 de Clavister était trois fois plus performante que son concurrent le plus proche, et dix fois plus que la moyenne des autres solutions.
