Trespa introduces new Wood Decors
Trespa International has expanded its collection of natural colours and finishes for the Trespa Meteon panel with the addition of seven new Wood Decors. These draw their inspiration from the natural world. They are designed to inspire architects and designers, to provide them with more tools with which to create stunning facades and to identify with the trend towards environmental awareness and sustainability.

DSM DYNEEMA AND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL MAASTRICHT COLLABORATE TO EXPLORE NEW SOLUTIONS FOR CORRECTING SPINAL DEFORMITIES
URMOND (NL), 18 June 2008 - DSM Dyneema and the university hospital Maastricht (azM), The Netherlands, today announced a joint agreement to conduct research into new solutions that can improve surgical outcomes for patients with spinal deformities. Combining the materials technology of DSM Dyneema with the clinical expertise of the university, this project aims to develop new solutions that support the trend toward minimally invasive procedures as well as the need for preservation of mobility. The project team will focus on leveraging Dyneema Purity®, an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fiber offering maximum strength and minimum weight, to enhance post-operative mobility and quality of life for surgery patients as a result. Furthermore, the high strength-to-weight ratio of Dyneema Purity® enables device miniaturization to support minimally invasive surgical techniques that promote faster recuperation and reduced scarring.

CHEMTURA RAISES PRICES ON PHOSPHATE ESTER FLAME RETARDANTS
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase prices on its range of core and performance phosphate ester flame retardants by 15% in all regions, effective June 16th, 2008, or as contract terms allow. This includes the Reofos® and Kronitex® brands.

SABIC Innovative Plastics Launches New High-End Lexan* SD Films for Long-Lasting, Compromise-Resistant Electronic ID Cards
BERGEN OP ZOOM, The Netherlands – June 12, 2008 – Identity theft, border security, and other threats are expanding the use of electronic identity cards that can resist compromise, last for up to 10 years, and incorporate a variety of sophisticated graphic technologies, such as laser marking. To meet these requirements, SABIC Innovative Plastics has developed three new high-performance polycarbonate (PC) film grades for manufacturing electronic ID cards and security documents. These new products are part of the Lexan* SD film family and include a laser-markable grade; a bright white, opaque material; and a clear grade for the cover or intermediate layers of the ID card. CHEMTURA INCREASES PRICES ON BISPHOSPHATE FLAME RETARDANTS
Effective June 15th, 2008, or as contract terms allow, Chemtura Corporation (NYSE : CEM) will increase pricing for Reofos® BAPP and Reofos® RDP aryl bisphosphate ester flame retardants by $0.65 per kilogram in all regions. Chemtura is also removing all extended price validity.
