Solutia® Announces Vydyne® and Ascend® Price Increase in Asia
ST. LOUIS – December 14, 2007 -- Solutia Inc. (OTCBB: SOLUQ) has announced a price increase of $150 per metric ton across its Ascend® and Vydyne® polyamide 66 resins in the Asia Pacific market. This increase applies to orders shipped on or after December 15, 2007, and will be applied across the Ascend and Vydyne product families. Sustained increases in both energy and raw materials costs, along with strong global demand, have made this price increase imperative.

Le Car Design News Contest 2008 est le premier concours international de conception automobile numérique au monde
LONDRES – 4 janvier 2008 – Car Design News a annoncé aujourd'hui le plus grand concours de conception automobile entièrement numérique au monde, en association avec SABIC Innovative Plastics et optimisé par Autodesk. Le Car Design News Contest 2008 sera jugé par des directeurs de conception automobile qui travaillent pour de grands constructeurs automobiles, comme Martin Smith, vice-président exécutif de la conception chez Ford Europe, Asie-Pacifique et Afrique, et Shiro Nakamura, vice-président senior et responsable de la conception chez Nissan. Ce concours est unique dans le sens où toutes les conceptions seront créées sous forme de modèles informatiques virtuels. Le concours est réparti entre deux catégories – concepteurs professionnels et étudiants concepteurs – dont les premiers prix comprennent une somme d'argent en espèces et une licence du logiciel Alias DesignStudio.
