Borouge and Linde / consolidated constructors int’l company (CCC) formally sign US$1.3 billion cracker contract
• Expansion of Borouge’s production facilities to include the world's largest olefins conversion unit and Ethylene Cracker
• Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and UAE Minister of Economy attend contract signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi
• Borouge is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Borealis
Borouge, a leading provider of innovative plastics solutions, and a consortium of the Engineering division of The Linde Group and CCC today formally signed a contract worth approximately US$1.3 billion for the construction of a new Ethylene Cracker, which is considered the largest grass roots gas cracker in the world with a capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per annum.

Spring Global Mail enters the market for international press distribution in Germany
Cologne, February 2007 – The German branch of the world's largest private international business mail provider, Spring Global Mail, is entering the market for cross border press distribution. The new product, called Press Service, enables publishers to send products at more favourable prices than the main postal companies in Germany. In addition, the product contains a large range of services for the preparation of consignments.

FAVORABLE RULING IN PATENT LAWSUIT FOR DSM DYNEEMA
Urmond (NL), January 26, 2007 – The “Tribunal de Grande Instance” of Paris, France, has ruled in favor of DSM Dyneema, the inventor and manufacturer of Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber™, in a patent infringement lawsuit instituted against Hangzhou Pivot International Co. Ltd., of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
