CHEMTURA ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASES ON ADIPRENE®/VIBRATHANE® URETHANES FOR EUROPE
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of its Adiprene/Vibrathane urethane elastomers in Europe by 7%, for all deliveries on or after January 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.

Borouge and Borealis introduce innovative plastic solutions for automotive applications
Borouge and Borealis are introducing two high performance plastic solutions specially tailored for the automotive industry. The first is Daplen™ ED230HP, a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), that Borealis developed jointly with Plastic Omnium, while the second, Nepol™ GB215HP, is a new grade of polypropylene developed with the BMW Group.

Borouge awards approximately USD 1.3 billion Borouge 2 Cracker (EU2) Contract to Linde Engineering
Borouge, the leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, today announced that it has awarded the contract to build its new ethylene cracker to Linde Engineering. The cracker will have a capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum and is considered to be the largest gas cracker in the world.
