BRANDING-PROGRAMMA DSM DYNEEMA TOONT GEBRUIKERS DE KWALITEIT VAN HUN HANDSCHOENEN
Urmond, Nederland, 24 oktober 2005 – DSM Dyneema heeft een nieuw branding-programma aangekondigd dat helpt om de kwaliteit te waarborgen van industriële handschoenen die zijn gemaakt met Dyneema®, de sterkste vezel ter wereld. Het programma selecteert topproducenten van handschoenen die bekend staan om de consistente hoge kwaliteit van hun producten en nodigt ze uit om deel te nemen aan het programma. Daarna wordt een onafhankelijke test uitgevoerd van de slijt- en scheurvastheid van hun met Dyneema® geproduceerde handschoenen. Een label laat de eindgebruikers weten dat de handschoenen die ze dragen voldoen aan de standaards van het programma. Het programma zal naar verwachting aan het einde van het jaar van start gaan.

Borealis receives technical certification for its automotive solutions
Borealis was recently awarded the ISO/TS 16949:2002 technical specification for two key production facilities serving the automotive business. Following audits conducted by Det Norske Veritas during April 2005 the certification was awarded to Schwechat, Austria and Beringen, Belgium, providing Borealis automotive customers with the continuing assurance of polypropylene (PP) and PP compound material quality specific to the criteria set by the industry.
