Amoi Electronics, a leading manufacturer in China’s electronics industry, has selected Lexan EXL4419 resin, a high-performance material from GE, to help design its new M60 multimedia cell phone. Lexan EXL resin is characterized by high stiffness in combination with excellent impact strength and good paintability that allow it to provide outstanding aesthetics, durability, and reliability, even under the roughest of handling conditions. This new testing facility compliments the investment GE Advanced Materials has already made in developing and validating proprietary computer analysis techniques to predict pedestrian impact performance of vehicles.
