El nuevo calentador de American Maplan es para los extrusores como tener dinero en el banco
Pequeños cambios en el diseño de una máquina pueden suponer grandes ahorros para los transformadores. Esta realidad se puso de manifiesto recientemente, cuando el fabricante de extrusoras American Maplan Corp., de la localidad de McPherson, Kansas (EE.UU.) llevó a cabo un mínimo cambio en el diseño del dispositivo de calentamiento del aceite del husillo instalado en la mayoría de sus máquinas para perfiles. El nuevo diseño reduce la cantidad de electricidad necesaria para cada calentamiento en un 20%, bajando de 9,5 vatios a 7,6,vatios sin perjudicar al rendimiento general del proceso. El resultado, según el responsable de ventas Kurt Waldhauer, es un importante potencial en la reducción de consumo energético, un incremento en la vida del calefactor del 50 al 60% y una reducción en el mantenimiento de la máquina.

Herr Marburger hat einen Abschluss als Diplom Ingenieur im Bereich der Kunststofftechnik und war 14 Jahre als Entwicklungsingenieur in verschiedenen Bereichen von DOW Deutschland tätig. Zuletzt war Herr Marburger 3 Jahre für RTP Deutschland im Bereich Spezialitäten Compounds tätig. Er verfügt über viel Erfahrung in den Bereichen Entwicklung und Vertrieb von HT Thermoplasten.

Completada la gama de extrusoras cónicas de Battenfeld
Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik GmbH, de Bad Oeynhausen, ha reaccionado al tremendo éxito registrado con su primera extrusora cónica lanzando al mercado una serie completa con tres modelos. Además de la extrusora BEX 2-54 C, probada con éxito en el ámbito de los rendimientos medios, ya están disponibles una pequeña coextrusora modelo BEX 2-42 CC y un modelo más grande, el BEX 2-72 C.
