MILÁN – (7 de mayo de 2003) – El mundo que nos rodea está atestado de organismos microscópicos como bacterias, hongos y levaduras. De hecho, los científicos dicen que la vida tal como la conocemos sería imposible sin microbios. Algunos microorganismos son muy beneficiosos para los humanos pues nos ayudan a digerir los alimentos y a descomponer nuestros desechos y juegan un papel clave en la producción de alimentos fermentados como la cerveza, el vino, el queso, el yogurt, el vinagre y el seitan.
